This course also known as IRON or Bridging Program, is accessible to all overseas qualified Nurses wishing to Nurse in Australia, who have been recommended by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for eligibility.

The aim of this course is to assist overseas qualified Nurses to embrace the knowledge and skills required to work as a registered Nurse in Australia and provide support in the transition from nursing in their country of origin to nursing in Australia.

On a successful completion of IRON course, student would be eligible to apply for registration with APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

Requirements for Enrolment in an IRON are as below:

• Must have completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in your home country. (Diploma holders can only become EN after IRON program

• Three months of nursing experience during the last 5 years

• English requirement 

  • IELTS( Academic) with a minimum overall score of 7 and a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components​

  • OET with a minimum score of B in each of the four components​

  • PTE ( Academic) with a minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills​

  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum total score of 94 and minimum score of 24 for listening, 24 for reading, 27 for writing and 23 for speaking
